I think it’s a great idea, and no accident, that the actual review content is put last in these submissions. By the time you get here, you have really clarified in your own mind what you think of the work overall, and why. I think it would be a great idea to actually use this review form itself, completed, to serve as a guide to its own completion! Bottom line. This was a winner for me. Great job.
Bottoms up!

The surprise ending I should have seen. Not sure how that gets pulled off, but I suspect it can be done. The writing is brisk and the pace moves the reader along without concept of time. I like that. While some characters were not as fully fucked as they wanted. Characters that should arc. do, and ones that should die, die. I found the characters believable and real, reacting in situations like my neighbor would, instead of being all heroes.

It is not strictly original, but few films are. I think it cleverly adds enough to the various genres it touches on to make it fresh and vibrant. Would be a satisfying film.

The story follows the traditional 3 act structure, hits the marks along the way, and pays off handsomely.

There was universal conflict in the form of a woman whose child has gone missing and husband has been killed. Every scene of the story draws that rope tighter.

Dialog was journeyman throughout, and with this type film that’s as much as you really want.

A steady movement forward leaves little time to run for snacks. Pause button will be needed!

This is a tough one because stories are stories. It is a bit of an unlikely premise, but in todays’ modern world, not as strange as some real events.

It really depends on how you look at the story. Singularly, all the events have likely happened.

This is quite obviously done by a first rate scriptwriter. It is confident, exacting, and builds the picture as required with minimal fluff.

The only grammatical heartaches are quite intentional. While not suitable for a novel, in the vernacular of screenplays it is excellent.
I had the pleasure of reading the very first draft of this. It’s come a long way.
